"When you look up "professional" in the dictionary, you will find a picture of Dolly Curley. She has the drive, desire and heart to do whatever it takes to get the job done, whether it's locating experts, performing medical records reviews, trial preparation or any litigation project in which she lends her assistance. I have learned so much about medicine—and the people who practice it—from Dolly. She's "one of a kind"

" I've been an attorney for eleven years — the first six were as a prosecutor for the State of Delaware and the past five have been in private practice. Although I've had quite a few occasions to work with medical personnel, I never had the need or occasion to work with a legal nurse consultant until I was asked by the Court to represent an indigent co-defendant in a capital murder prosecution. A great deal of evidence in the case related to the medical treatment of a gunshot victim, who died after approximately two months of intensive care. We initially received about 1,500 pages of medical records, and we needed someone with experience to promptly digest and translate the information. We hired Dolly. The type of assistance we received—and the professional manner in which it was received—was phenomenal. We became educated on a number of facets of the victim's care, and we gained valuable insight into the victim's ability to recall significant events and to communicate those experiences to others. We asked Dolly to testify in a pretrial proceeding to summarize those voluminous records for the trial judge. Dolly was prepared and professional; her testimony was favorably received by the trial judge, and the prosecutors were hard pressed to challenge her observations. In my opinion, it would have been legal malpractice for us NOT to have hired Dolly."

" I have known Dolly Curley for the last several years and we have had multiple opportunities to work together in patient care and management. Besides being a good friend, Dolly has taught me a great deal about patient care. She has always impressed me as someone who is passionate and providing patients with the care they need to help them through the healing process and get back into their daily routine. Her understanding and experience have been an asset to my patients and has had a positive effect on the care provided at my office. Recently, we collaborated on an article for the JLNC to explain the phases of healing and discuss how to appropriately evaluate a patient's treatment regimen. Dolly certainly has the experience and expertise necessary for coordinating the different facets of patient care. Working with Dolly has always been a positive experience and I look forward to working with her on future projects."

I have had the wonderful opportunity to have met Dolly through my current employer. I am a litigation paralegal working in a law firm that handles predominately cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice and workers compensation. I have also had the great pleasure of working very closely with her on several complex litigation cases. Dolly is the type of person who always takes the time explain to me the "medical" terms and to share with me her extensive medical resources. She is always extremely thorough in her area of expertise. She is not only a wonderful resource, but a pleasure to have met.

Dolly is an invaluable resource in determining whether there is merit to a potential medical negligence action, and in putting together the case when there is merit. The most important decision a lawyer makes in a medical negligence case is whether to accept the case and file suit. Dolly will help you understand the medicine, organize the medical records, and find well-credentialed experts. Her promptness is second to none. Her expert assistance allows the lawyer to concentrate on the legal issues in the case. I can recommend Dolly without any reservations.
